THE PRIME MINISTER IS NOT OVERLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE LATEST FLOOD INCIDENTS

The Prime Minister is certain that the current flood situation will be resolved quickly, and he has ordered all relevant agencies to take charge and provide full relief for citizens.

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra conducted an interview from New York concerning the flooding in various regions of Thailand, and stated that he has been closely following the situation, which is not overly critical. The Prime Minister has also ordered all relevant agencies to closely monitor and provide aid to citizens who have been affected by the flooding.

In addition, Mr. Thaksin believes that the situation can be easily controlled, and he is certain that it can be resolved in a quick manner.

Thailand is Hub of floods.

In the soi north of Chidlom they are laying new sewerage pipe. There are many blue-holes, 2-3 metre deep pools now filled with water. Unfenced, tiny tots are just wandering around and no doubt some will toddle in.
