Hi this is the First time I have posted on The Thai Visa Travel section, although I have posted on the General forum , I have been to Pattay a few times in the Past but always stayed in Rooms, This time I will be going for a few weeks. I have never stayed in a Hotel so I will be looking for a hotel with a pool. I have hear-ed some story's about the cleanliness of the water and the pool. So the question is can anybody recommend a good hotel with a pool in about 1300baht range, I have been on the Thai Visa Hotel booking site but when you get through the rooms are gone , bit of a scam I feel, Thanks in Advance.

Was in Pattaya last week and stayed at Dianna Inn, staff very good and the pool was one of the best I have used, 1M to est 3M and clean. Only other pool I heard of worth using was MK Legend near 3rd road. Few years ago used LK Metropole and ended up in Bangkok Hospital, got back to UK went for a vision test and my readings had changed from 3 months earlier! Wear goggles and be safe.

Flipper lodge or Flipper hotel have decent rooftop pools. pool also has a "waterfall" that is nice when weather is hot. Eastiny Place is OK too. Pool is between the buildings so no view so to speak. Many hotels will let you rent their pool for the day, 60 or 100 baht or so. Mike's orchard the nice looking place over on Soi 2 I think? has a very nice outdoor pool with the vanishing edge. If up on Soi Yume past Carre 4 and near nantan gardens there is an outdoor pool that has nice lounge chairs and little thatch huts where you can sit and eat. If up in the North end of Pattaya, there are several hotels in the Naklua area that I have checked out but never stayed at.

How do you determine it was the water in the pool that affected your eyes?
