I think you went overboard on blocking the subject of the Phayao accident. I just read the news for Saturday, Monday posted here on this site. we have not been watching Thai tv nor bought any newspapers. 1st I heard about this from Taco just now and told the family. Since we live very close to Phayao, and NOT in the Monday news here posted so far, NOT watching TV or buying newspapers, I think you were out of line terminating the thread. Suppose the folks who died, who were hurt were someone here that knew and wanted to acknowledge that? You terminate/stop that thread, I think You were too hasty. You have the power, I guess to terminate this thread I started or whatever. In my mind, Taco did nothing wrong to enlighten those whe did not know, yet. SHOW me a link on today's news here where I get all my news, about that accident?

It was good to hear about it. not sure I would have otherwise. But Gino, I believe we are not allowed to discuss the actions of moderators either . maybe we are on thin Ice . Rules are Rules I guess.

It's between a rock & a hard place. Bangkok Post was quite explicit years ago to TV that there will be no linking, hot linking or copying of their information or legal action would be taken. Some people probably aren't aware of this. Yes the link could have been killed and perhaps some prose placed in there to let people know that an accident had happened involving Chiang Rai residents and perhaps a link to TV news covering the accident.
