hi there a little bit of advice needed please

in may 2010 i got type o single entry 3 month visa and stayed 3 month

i returned after i month in malasia with a 60 day tourist visa from penang witch i extended 1 month.

february i returned from cambodia with 60 day tourist visa , intending to extend 1 month witch would take me to 1 may,

due to change of plans i would like to stay in thailand throughout may ,

i have been told better to leave without extending my visa and going to penang for a new tourist visa for 60 days,

i am unsure witch way to go about this any advice please on witch thai consulate to use or any other advice

what happens if you are refused a visa ? does it often happen

thankyou jez

You have already had an extension on a tourist visa so if Penang is going to refuse issue it will be done on that basis and a new extension would not matter. I see no reason not to extend. If you then need a longer period you could try KL or other Consulate. Do not believe two extensions will have more of adverse effect than one under the policy they were using (which is not clear they still are).
