March 21, 201115 yr Probably a very long shot, but in any case... has anybody seen Goldwell hair coloring anywhere in Thailand? It's the ONLY brand that covers my gray. I've tried every salon and every brand and nothing else works. My hair salon in Vietnam (I lived there last year) used Goldwell and it worked like a charm.
March 21, 201115 yr No, but I am now intrigued having gone gray at 26, finding a good hair color where the roots don't fade in a few days is the Holy Grail. That said, there is a huge salon supply store in Bangkok on Petchaburi road, (same road as panthip but if you are coming up from sukhumvit on the central world road, you turn right instead of left and walk a ways down the road- you have to cross the street somewhere too as its on the other side). If you are in bangkok its definitely worth checking out.
March 21, 201115 yr Author I'll try to find it and take a look. Goldwell is supposed to only be available to salons, not to the public, so I'm not sure they'll carry it. I'm 31, so I understand the pain --I'm too young for gray hair! The closest I've been to ok coverage is from a really good salon in Bangkok but it's still not even close to the results I had with Goldwell in Vietnam. I mean, coverage was 100 % and lasted 4 weeks. This was just a few months ago, so it's not like my hair had time to change a lot since then. If I can't find Goldwell in Thailand, I've been thinking about ordering it online. Even with delivery (assuming they'll deliver here and gets through customs) it will still be cheaper than coloring my hair as often as I do it now!
April 4, 201115 yr Author Just curious, I am going to the US soon, is this brand available in the US? Yes, it is. If you google the name, you should be able to find a list of places where the product is available. You won't find it in stores, though. You'll need to get it from a salon or through a distributor. I called my salon in Vietnam to ask if they would sell me/ship the color to Thailand, but they told me they can't do it I just found Goldwell on Amazon, though. I might give that a try and see what happens. My only concern is whether it'll get through customs here in Thailand.
