Hi all!

I´m trying to kidnap a friend for his first trip to Thailand in September and I have to get the cheapest ticket possible.

I found a ticket with Aerosvit outbound Stockholm/Arlanda Sept 14, return Oct 8. Stopover in Kiev aprox 2 hours both ways.

Total price incl. taxes: 10565 Baht (2300 SEK).

My question is if it is worth it?

Depending on this months income, I will probably fly with Turkish...

Cheers and thanks!

I have been tempted to try them as well in business class as they are so cheap, but after checking reviews on skytrax i decided not to bother. Turkish has great reviews btw.

i fly with aerosvit too many times for the cheapest fares but i will not recommend it due to the poor service and old aircrafts. and if you miss your connecting flight from kiev and wait for the next bkk flight there is nothing to do in kiev airport except drinking. if i were you i will stick to turkish airlines. they have very ood inflight service and even if you miss your connecting flight they offer you free istanbul city tour and airport lounge access

Thanks! I know they are one of the worst airlines in Europe but a fun story happened to a guy from a Swedish forum.

He flew with Aerosvit not long ago. As usual they did not serve alcohol onboard but he sat next to a Russian or Ukranian that brought a bottle of vodka on to the plane that he shared.

A while later he ended up in the lavatory vomiting all over, shitfaced drunk. :bah: And the F/A did not bother cleaning it up.

The Swede was amused. :D

Now I have booked with Thai instead, direct Stockholm-BKK-HKG, HKG-BKK, BKK-ARN... Ended up paying 6515 SEK (982 $)... Just in time before they add at least 150 $ in taxes/fulecosts starting April 4.

nothing can be better than a direct flight. no second xray checks no waiting at airports and keep your money in your pocket than wasting in airports. have a nice flight with thai
