Kingfisher Bkk-Lhr

Featured Replies

Could someone who's flown with Kingfisher BKK-LHR whether you can check the luggage all the way through or not?

(I'm struggling to get a definite answer on whether my Thai partner needs a transit visa for India when transiting through Mumbai.)

Hello. I came out from LHR-BKK via Delhi, had 15 hours there, never saw the luggage until I arrived in BKK, I fly back via Mumbai, they have changed the schedule so I only have 1 hour in Mumbai so I am hoping I get the connection. I hope the luggage makes it with me too. I hope the first part of the answeris what you were looking for.

You don't need a visa if traveling on a Thai passport, and holding a UK entry visa, and catching a confirmed onward flight within 24 hours. You can't leave the airport. The transit visa is required only when your connection is through another airport. Kingfisher flights were checking through baggage last year, but then again so were Air India but according to a current thread running on Air India they are not doing so at present. Best check that out with Kingfisher.

This is a good site to check for transit visa info.
