So masses of people will be leaving Bangkok jamming up the roads starting when? SATURDAY April 9 perhaps? Or earlier/later? Thanks for the info if you know. 13 April 2011 (Wednesday) Songkran Songkran is the traditional Thai new year, generally celebrated as a water festival. National Holiday 14 April 2011 (Thursday) Songkran Second day of this three-day holiday. National Holiday 15 April 2011 (Friday) Songkran Third of the three days of Songkran. IMO We found out yesterday that buses going south from CR direction have limited seating and return (BKK - CR) nil for the next few weeks.
