Navy Successful in Rescuing Tourists from Koh Tao

The Navy has been successful in rescuing tourists stranded on Koh Tao via the HTMS Chakri Naruebet, HTMS Sukothai, and HTMS Bangpakong.

They will continue on to Koh Phangan to rescue 800 tourists there.

Constitution Court Throws out JBC Suit

The Constitution Court has thrown out the suit submitted by Democrat MPs for a deliberation whether the 3 meeting minutes of the Thai-Cambodian Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) have to undergo Parliamentary approval under Article 190 of the Constitution.

The court reasoned it is not necessary to issue a ruling on this at this time.

Bangkok Airways will operate 19 flights in total today for routing between Samui - Bangkok, the last flights from Samui will be PG962 and PG5172 leaving at 22.00 hrs. These flights are expected to carry around 2,000 passengers out of Samui Airport within today as the weather is starting to clear.
