Calls for action on Chinese investments in Thailand
Chinese businesses and above all the CCP cannot be trusted, they've been engaging in subsidizing businesses for decades now, to the point where they undercut nearly everybody that they compete with. The only solution is either sanctions or heavy tariffs on certain Chinese imports, like steel. Never trust the CCP, they will always stab you in the back, that's just their nature. -

It's the same game Trump played with the hush money trial. Ultimately, he did not take the witness stand because he knew he would get shredded. He debated Biden because he thought he could win. His handlers probably told him Biden was in cognitive decline. The same handlers are probably telling him debating Harris is too dangerous. As a former prosecutor, she has the tools to eviscerate him. Trump hates losing, or being called a loser. Being unable to interrupt or talk over Harris is a losing position. -

DISCLAIMER: This is a terrible situation for all involved and sh*tty reflection on the world we live in today. But bear in mind that the boys were aged 11-15, meaning that they have a similar mental age / maturity as the victims. Did any of them really know what was planned or about to happen? I am NOT for one second condoning this, but kids have done stuff like this since the beginning of ciivilization. This is very different from adolescent or adult males doing it. Let's also not forget that women around the world appear to have the right to say 'ok,' and then half way through an act change their minds and all of a sudden it becomes rape. And I would say that SOME women don't verbally change their minds until after the event, when it suits them. All I'm saying is that the facts need to be taken into account before the lynch mobs come out with pitchforks. -

Do agents handle Extension of stay - based on marriage
That and in addition immigration prefers extensions based on retirement. Less paperwork. Regards your other post referring to taxation I would worry about that when/if occurs. Think if you can bring 400k from UK then that would be best option. Actually I'm in similar situation. Actually only have 400k in my thai bank and need 800k for extension retirement seasoned for two months. Transferring 400k+ today using WISE from Oz. Will land in my Thai bank in quick time. -

Taxing foreign income that's already been taxed at source - not happening. UK and Thailand have reciprocal agreements on taxation. Tax inspectors knocking on your door informing to register for tax before Jan 2025 - No! Any word on the subject from Immigration - No! Read the latest news requiring all long term expats on annual extensions to register for tax - neither have I!- 1
