PATTAYA: -- Early on Friday morning police and Sawang Boriboon rescue volunteers were called to the side of an apartment block off Soi 17 in South Pattaya to attend to a badly injured 27-year-old ladyboy. The injured person had apparently fallen from the balcony of a rented apartment after trying to escape a night raid conducted on the room by undercover police the previous evening. The 27-year-old was one of six people in a room where an undercover police operative had earlier purchased a quantity of illegal narcotics
