STOCK EXCHANGE SEES HEAVY TRADING

The investment atmosphere of the Stock Exchange of Thailand at the start of this week has seen a surge in stocks sold, especially in energy, communications, banking, and financial institution stocks.

The past week saw a steady increase in the price of energy, communications, banking, and financial institution stocks, due to the bearish view of investors from an economic analysis conducted by the Bank of Thailand in August. In addition, the regional Asian stock market has seen an increase in trading, though with an emphasis on short-term investment and constant stock port shuffles.

Yesterday, the stock index closed at seven hundred twenty one point two eight, down by four point three, and trading totaled sixteen billion four hundred ninety-one billion baht. Stocks that are traded extensively are those of the Thailand Petrochemical Industry Public Company Limited (TPI), closing at fourteen point eight baht, down by two point six three percent, due to investor expectations that the company's debtors will not accept the seventeen baht stock bid of TPI.

Stocks of the Kasikorn Bank has also seen heavy trading, due to large demands for the bank's stocks. The energy sector also attracted investment, especially the PTT company, and other companies.

The rich locals are back into the game after being burnt badly last year. I was given this week winners by "someone" in the game. Total trash stocks with a lot of insider trading. No doubt they will return 10% to 15% this week. They are all calling each other on mobile for pushing their hot stocks. It's amazing.

However the SET will go wild again before year end. I am expecting 800 by end of December
