Yes, though I think the one at the Airport (now at the far end of the new building, farthest from the 'main road') is still open Every day of the year.

Not sure of the procedure but won't they just send them on a plane direct to bangkok from the airport?

To serve what purpose? All post offices nation wide are oficially closed till monday. with the first collections monday morning....There is mail there too, for local delivery. and they will not be sorting that over a public holiday. Sure you might be able to buy stamps and post a letter, but don't expect any action on it..
