Sms Scam

Featured Replies

Although I, & no doubt most of you, have been receiving for a long time the usual "Nigerian" scam emails I have never received any through SMS until today I was informed my mobile number had won GBP1,450,000. The heading was "Congratulation" & the email to contact was .cn which I think is China. My number is with AIS & I shall inform them but how did the scammer get hold of my number & I assume plenty of others? This has been discussed before but I wonder if someone at AIS was complicit in supplying the numbers.

I brought a SIM card in HK and wiithin 24hrs had a scam from China, only the one , they are out there these parasites, not much AIS can do, even had 1 or 2 in Australia on telstra network , just delete I guess.:bah:
