September 28, 200520 yr Hi, Does anyone here have any idea why none of the traffic lights in town are working? And here I thought driving here was risky business *with* them working.
September 28, 200520 yr You've beaten me to it! Nothing in South Pattaya seems to be working and, for a cyclist, this is now rather dangerous. None of the Thai drivers seems to have noticed this yet ????

September 30, 200520 yr I noticed that some pedestrian 'walk/don't walk' lights were added to the corner of 2nd Road and Pattaya Tai, maybe that shorted out the whole system?
September 30, 200520 yr I like the lights when you are turning left at Pattaya Klang into Sukhumvit and you have a green arrow. The only problem is that the traffic going along Sukhumvit also has a green light.

Even more fun is trying to exit Soi Nern Plub Wahn get across 3 lanes of Sukhumvit traffic within 50 yards so you can turn into Pattaya Klang..........best tried at 5.30pm to 6pm.

This will give you enough time to cross all of the lanes if you want to make a right into Pattaya Klang. Edited September 30, 200520 yr by COBBER
