KABUL (BNO NEWS) -- A helicopter belonging to the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) crashed in eastern Afghanistan on early Saturday morning, the alliance said, but no casualties were reported.

ISAF said the accident happened in the Alah Say district of Kapisa province, but provided few other details. "A coalition forces helicopter suffered a hard landing in Alah Say district of Kapisa province in eastern Afghanistan today," a spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said both crew members survived the accident and have been recovered, but gave no details on whether they were injured or what caused the crash. "[We] will update as soon as we have more," he added.

In September 2010, nine NATO troops were killed and others were injured when an ISAF helicopter crashed in southern Afghanistan.
