Just curious. How does the Thai police detain and lock up females in their custody prior to court trial ? Is the condition acceptable ? Is the experience scary for a law-abiding lady ? Are they being thrown into a cell same with Thai guys? Will they be hand-cuffed. Do they offer drinking water and assistance to the girls if required ? Do they offer advice or bail information to the girls?

From what i heard from one of my expat friend. He is a guy and was throw into a lock up. Information was withhold from him, Lack of communication, What was happening next was clueless. He went paranoid. He said there was no sight of a cell that was for woman. He asked for drinking water from the police who dont even care to help him. He was locked up in a total hell experience before going to trial.

Just imagine its a girl. Be it your beloved wife, your girlfriend or your daughter. in this situation. Whereby the police misunderstood the situation and locked up the wrong person.

What will u do, how will it turn out ? lets discuss.

That's a pretty weird question.

If there's no way they can make bail, prison isn't a good place to be. There was an Australian woman arrested in Phuket for some ridiculous incident. She didn't complain about the prison situation as much as being held for something like 4 or 5 days for something very minor.

My extrapolated guess is, based on their other behaviors, that they offer her a place to stay at home. :whistling:

More than likely, the ever-respectful policing systems will offer lodging at the special Ladies' Boutique Hostel for Prisoners Wrongly Accused.
