Featured Replies

me and my thai gf just got engaged while she was here on her tourist visa she has now gone back to thailand 2 weeks ago but before she left we filled in the forms for the fiance visa which she intends to lodge when she gets back to thailand, but we realiaed that we made a mistake on the form by putting her mums last name the same as her dads, her parents are still together and were married before but then got a divorce but then got back together again but didnt remarry and our marriage celebrant here in australia put my fiance parents as having the same last name on the intention to marry paper, are we going to have a problem with this from the embassy?would appreciate everyones feedback and thanks in advance

our marriage celebrant here in australia

I assume this means that you are applying for a visa to Australia, and so have amended your topic title accordingly.

The mistake will need to be fixed...cuople of options

Fill out new visa forms and send them to your girl to complete or you could try a covering letter explaining things and include that in the application.

Get in touch with the celebrant, see what he says regards the NOIM. Worst comes to worst you may have to fill out a new one and send it to your girl to sign.

The main thing is to remain honest with the Embassy.
