I am going to travel to Thailand with a single entry Non-ED visa later this year. I understand that I will get permission to stay for 90 days and if I have calculated correctly this means that I will be allowed to stay until August 21. Currently I have a flight booking for leaving Bangkok from Suvarnabhumi to Europe in 1:50 AM in August 22.

1. I usually pass the immigration before the midnight so technically I will leave Thailand in the night of August 21. Would this be acceptable to the immigration or will this be considered an overstay since my flight leaves in August 22?

2. Just in case I can not pass the immigration before midnight in August 21, I wonder if this will cause a problem in the sense that they will stamp my passport for overstay and might affect getting visa for my future trips to Thailand. I understand that I will have to pay 500 THB in that case.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Edit: I know that I can get an extension for 7 days in an immigration office.

No Problems 1 day overstay is free only after that you will be charged 500 Baht per day No point in paying for extention

Technicaly you will have left Thailand when you pass through and get your passport stamped.
