Vientiane Consulate Since April 1

haven't read any stories about the thai consulate in vientiane since the free tourist visa period ended, has the place changed back to how it was prior now?

just curious to see what impact charging for tourist visas again might have had on the politics / operations of the place.

With visa run companies not even allowing people on the bus to Vientiane if they have concurrent stamps and even local (Nong Khai) affected people avoiding the place there is very little information out there.

Someone needs to test the water!

No bad reports of late.. but no good reports either
