BOJONEGORO, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) -- Three more bodies were found on Wednesday after a ferryboat carrying 32 passengers sank in the eastern part of the island of Java, Indonesia on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to four, while others remain missing, officials said.

Disaster management agency chief Kasiyanto told Indonesia's Antara news agency that three passengers were found dead about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from the incident's location in Bengawan Solo near Padang village in the East Java province.

The bodies were identified as Nikmah, 16, Nurul Wijayanti, 16, and Agus Priyanto, 35. The bodies of the fatal victims were later taken to their families after being identified.

Previously, search and rescue teams had found the body of a woman identified as Darsih, 35, several hours after the boat sank. In addition, five others remain unaccounted four.

The missing passengers have been identified as Yana Oktaviani, 15, Veti Maya Nurhidayah, 15, Sri Parti, 16, Ketut Arisanto, 30 and Darsini, 40.
