Medical emergency highlights medical shortfalls on Pattaya Bay Island

PATTAYA: -- A minor medical emergency on Larn Island on Wednesday Afternoon, highlighted the need for an advanced medical care center on the Island which attracts thousands of tourists every day during the high season months. A boy aged 2 years was playing on his own while his mother worked at a restaurant on the Island on Wednesday. The boy was carrying a plastic gun which shoots plastic bullets. This normally harmless toy became a dangerous weapon when the boy placed the barrel of the plastic gun up his nose and pulled the trigger.
