Well, that's true and precisely the reason why we have to be compassionate with the jews. They were predisposed by their toxic ideology to get into conflict with the people they settled with. We see it now again with settlers saying openly they are racist, would not do charity for an old arab woman etc, they are clearly disadvantaged by their false belief in their own superiority which is hard to escape when your holy book tells you that you are the chosen people, and you have prayers to thank God for not making you a Gentile. That has got to mess with your head. And of course the net result was, as you said, endless conflict, persecutions and so on. So we can certainly understand the predicament this people were in and why they claim this land so desperately and vehemently. As regards this incident you refer to we have documented admissions on video and audio, there is no secret as to who perpetrated it. Of course we are sympathetic to the Palestinians, given the fact that their land was stolen, they are occupied, how they are treated etc, however, one can also see the Israeli problem here. They too are subject to violent attacks. Yes, Spidermike is a decent guy. But there are plenty of Jews who oppose what happens in Gaza, one of the most formidable opponents of Israel is none other than a jew, Norman Finkelstein. Seeing him take apart apologists for IDF violence makes you appreciate humanity to the full. Naom Chomsky speaks much the same words. There some who oppose it.
