GeorgiePattata Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 My Fiance and I bought a bar and moved to Pattaya about 6months ago and, planning to stay here for the long run, we bought a gorgeous red Chihuahua pup (Freddie) Sadly 6 months on things have changed and we will have to move back to the UK once we sell the bar. Now I have found out that it will not be possible to bring him back with us without him spending 6 months in UK quarrantine. This would be far to hard on him what with the seperation and the UK winter, it would just be cruel. So now I need to find a really good new home for him, I would really prefer him to be with farangs out here as we have different standards of care to the Thais (as well meaning as they are!) I dont want any money for him but I do want to have a few meet up/play dates with anyone interested so you have time to bond with him before I have to leave. He's got a great personality, has me in stitches for hours! loves people, loves other dogs. He's had all his vaccinations to date. I've taught him all the basic training things and he loves learning. This really is heart breaking for me, he really is an awesome little dog. I Just hope there is someone out there who can take care of him and ease my mind. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the offer, the only little problem he might have is he loves going out, to the beach and walks up Pratamnak hill etc, and I would hate it if he started misbehaving for you because of being indoors. Thank you agian.

camu Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) LOVE to know more about Freddie like weight and temperament to see if he could fit in my doggy household -- LOVE dogs big and small but have a sweet spot for chihuahuas (one of which I've had for 17 years...); I have many other dogs -- ALL rescued and living inside my spacious house with full access to ample garden during the day and constant supervision -- lots of play with young ones and sedate relaxation with older ones -- all to be had in Bangkok. I am a retired farang permanently living here and you can contact me at (please PM the OP) or mobile: 089-895-9965. Looking forward to your reply. Edited May 9, 2011 by bina email removed to keep away spam. phone numbers are ok, its your privacey at stake.
triffid Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 If for some reason the other offers fall through please contact me. I live in a large house with a huge amount of (walled) land around. I have 5 dogs already, including one (teacup) chihuahua. But I live in Chiangmai. On the other hand I could come to meet you - and the dog - in Pattaya. I go down to Bangkok every month anyway and if I were coming to Pattaya for this specific reason I'd motor down.
