Anyone been to the Banglamung DLT Office recently? How are the current wait times from the 1st time where you go to get an appointment date/time for the 2nd time, where you actually renew your licence? I believe these are the current required documents for the 2nd appointment: Copy of Thai DL (front/back) Copy of passport, your visa & the entry stamp Certificate of Residence Medical Certificate DLT E-Learning QR code (https://www.dlt-elearning.com/)

A long shot, but does anybody know of a good plumber or builder that maybe able to locate a fresh water leak? I'm located on the Darkside at Patta Village. The background is that over a number of months my water consumption has been steadily increasing, at one point it did reduce, however, I recently got back from a 2 week trip to the UK and the consumption has increased a lot, the water pump is now kicking in to maintain the pressure about once every 15 seconds for a second or so, which means

To buy a home is too expensive. To rent is too expensive. I have the solution: - Every 1 family home comes with a garden. Allow folks to pitch their tents in those gardens. Everything honky dory, electricity, water and toilet already there. The daily forced exchange between the "haves" and the "have not's" will be fruitful, forcably melting those different worlds into a brotherhood of man. Eureka ! 😉

For me, chicken breast, pork loin, or steak, with brown rice, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, garlic, onions, mushrooms, olive oil drizzeled over it all, 2 eggs, some blueberries and strawberries, and a beetroot probiotic smoothie with a vitamn D, zinc, B-complex, and magnesium glysenate pill.... no sugary dessert, not good. Think I'm good to go on that for today.

My two step children were sent home from University’s ( Thammasat Rangsit and Lat Krabang KMITL ) a few days ago as it was reported that both Uni’s had an outbreak of Covid. Apparently due to stay home for a week they were called back after 3 days. The children had no Covid tests. Irrespective of your belief of Covid I find it very strange that if both Uni’s believed the children could become infected their initial reaction was to send them home to interact with parents and possibly grandparents instead of isolating them using the Uni’s housing as a perfect location for containing the virus. Would just say that this is not about whether COVID exists but the reaction by the Uni’s ( who clearly believe it does ) to send the children home risking spreading Covid

Concerning washing machines, I've been through most brands, LG, Samsung, Siemens, Whirlpool, Electrolux, pretty tired of going through them, in fact I keep one as a spare for when the inevitable happens. One time a repairman came out and the conversation went like this: Him; "Mister, why you have two machines?" Me; "How long to fix this one?" Him; "About two months." Me; "That's why I have two machines." Him; Oh, understand" Anyway, when I used to work offshore all our installations used Miele washers and dryers, those things ran forever without a hiccup! If I could find this brand in Thailand I'd buy one, bulletproof! Offshore most workers don't care so the machines get abused on a regular basis, Miele machines just keep taking what's thrown at them and laugh it off. Expensive but worth it!

I can't figure it out. If I saw a man sporting a beard in north Norway, I'd understand that it helps to keep one's face warm (a la polar bear fur etc). But in Thailand? Why? I tend to assume: If the man is bald, then they are self-conscious of this and trying an 'upsidedown' look.... they are hiding a receding chin they are simply too lazy to shave (this is 95% the real reason!)
