Pattaya versus Bangkok Taxi Wars revealed in meeting

PATTAYA: -- Almost 100 Pattaya Taxi operators went to Pattaya Police Station on Wednesday to complain to the Police Chief relating to allegations that taxis from Bangkok are stealing customers from local taxis and are using intimidation and sometime violence to ensure they do not lose a fare. Police Colonel Nantawoot arrived with his two deputies at the meeting and was clearly not happy that the group decided to come on-mass rather than going through correct legal channels to ensure their complaints could be investigated.
