I asked in the phuket forum where we could find some good thai-french beef at a reasonable price, it seems to be nonexistent. I would like to buy a full rib eye/roast every 2weeks

Is this the same one they sell at makro? I bought a kilo of "good thai beef" at makro. It was worse than the 1$ steaks my mom used to buy when i was a kid.

Cooked to perfection, 4 different ways, chewy tasteless meat

no i tried that beef from mackro stewed it in the end for the dog,the beef i buy at tops must be from the same supplier because dec 2010 i bought 8kilos from robinsons ratchadapisek rd bkk ,and feb 2011 9kilos at central plaza in khon kean, both have tops supermarkets inside,i can ensure you this is good beef for the price,i tried the australian at 900bht a kilo not as good, the price has been about the same the last 20years if your lucky they do have it on promo quite often.its that good i will make a trip to k.k. just to buy some, this is the nearest from korat, good luck mind if you are useing it for a roast try and get it not trimmed you got to have some fat for the tatties.
