Hotel Or Apartment With Monthly Rates Needed @ Sukhumvit

Hi , can anyone recommend a halve decent hotel or apartment around Sukhumvit in BKK , near Ekamai or prakanum would be ideal . just need something for a month or two , just a studio with decent security and internet would be fine .

I don't think you can stay anywhere decent at 12k/month, if you want to stay near the BTS you'll have to double your budget at least. Monthly rentals are always more expensive than yearly rentals.

Agreed 12K you are dreaming. With internet no less. If you find one let us know, but I doubt it very much.

You could try Alta House, they have studios by the month for 9,000. It's a bit out of the way, on Soi Ulit (AKA Sukhumvit Soi 4, Soi 2 - Woraburi Hotel is on that corner), but a 5 min. walk to a 20 baht motocy to Nana BTS. I have never stayed there but I do know several people who return there every 6 mos/1 year so it can't be too shabby? In that same neighborhood are ~ 4 separate buildings with studios, there are ~ 6,000-ish baht but not sure on=f monthly rentals or availability. At Phrakanong you could easily find a room in the bracket but it will require 20 ~ 30 baht motocy journey. You can ask a motocy driver to take you around to several properties.

I think the topicstarter needs to clarify what he means by "decent" before we can give him further advice.

To me decent in the phra khanong area is something like life@sukhumvit condo, Fullerton etc. but those go at least with a 6months contract. There are some decent places more upwards thong lor / phrom phong, monthly rentals at 50k up for 1-bedroom / 1 bath.

A lot of hotels like admiral premier have monthly deals at 40k/month, but remember hotels can be very noisy at night.

Worabori hotel, raja and anything in the nana area are places for sex-tourists, noisy low-budget stuff. But if that's your thing then go ahead.
