It's something that no one else in the entire world can truthfully say: I've eaten 25,000 Big Macs.

Don Gorske can't say it yet either - but by tomorrow he will be able to.

Mr Gorske, 57, is set to eat his 25,000th McDonald's Big Mac on Tuesday, May 17 - the 39th anniversary of the first time he tasted the iconic burger.

He's even timed it down to mark the exact moment he first bit into a McDonald's patty at 3pm on May 17, 1972.

I doubt that I have eaten 25,000 of the same meal at any time in my life - not even my breakfast cereal.

And the best 'chain' burger I have ever had is the Fudruckers in Jeddah and Abu Dhabi. I have seen one or two other branches, but they're not here in VietNam - boo-hoo.

My favorite is a leg of lamb, but I only find that to be my choice once every two or three months. I can sit and enjoy for the entire evening. Especially with some of the more unusual dressings (see Gary Rhodes cookbooks for ideas)

i actually had a Big Mac yesterday, but it was horrible !, i much prefer the whopper ... hmm

Bacon double cheese burger is where it's at

I haven't had a burger in two months since flirting with the pretty girls at Mikes Burgers on Loy Khroh.

Normally I have to tough it out with smoked salmon, halibut and fresh prawns. I DO get to splurge sometimes with venison burger and extra sharp Canadian chedder, but I have to get a package of meat out of the freezer to do that.

the KFC Double Down Burger.....the buns have been replaced by fried chicken!!!! The Double Down contains "bacon, two different kinds of melted cheese, the Colonel’s 'secret' sauce... pinched in between two pieces of Original Recipe chicken fillets.

Perhaps they should change the name to Double Bypass Burger?

As for MR Big Mac, you only need to take one look at him to realise that you're dealin with a real WINNER IN THE GAME OF LIFE!
