al-Qaeda releases posthumous audio tape from Bin Laden

2011-05-19 12:25:16 GMT+7 (ICT)

ABBOTTABAD, PAKISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- Al-Qaeda's media arm on early Thursday morning released a posthumous audio tape from its former leader Osama bin Laden, who was killed during a U.S. operation in Pakistan.

Earlier this month, on May 6, the 'general command' of al-Qaeda confirmed that its leader was killed by U.S. special forces during an operation on May 1st in Abbottabad, Pakistan. It also confirmed the existence of a final audio tape which was recorded by Bin Laden a week before his death.

Thursday's audio recording, entitled "The Last Speech of the Martyr of Islam", addresses Muslims in regards to the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia. "We are monitoring with you this great historic event and we join you with your joy and delight, so congratulations on your victories and may God have mercy on your martyrs," Bin Laden said, according to a translation by CNN.

"With the overthrow of the tyrant, the definitions of fear, humiliation and surrender have fallen as well. The new meanings of freedom, pride, audacity and courage were risen. The winds of change came, in a will of liberation," Bin Laden said.

The statement was published on early Thursday morning on a Jihadist website that is known to frequently publish statements and other material from al-Qaeda and affiliated organizations. The authenticity of the material published on the website is usually not disputed.

Based upon the assertions and allegations of several TVF members, the claim by al Q. and the tape must be a fake because these people haven't seen any photos of OBL.

It must be a real blow to the imaginary world created by folks that push conspiracy gobbledeegook when the truth and reality is so overwhelming that it pushes aside any basis for doubt. The tape and the admission will settle the issue of OBL being dead for all except those that have some mental health issues or that get a kick out pushing internet rumours. A big thank you goes out to al Q. for helping put this story to bed.

Never underestimate the powers of cognitive disonnance in action. There should be more of it on 22nd May unless a good many people are raptured on the 21st. :jap:

Hear, hear! :clap2:

How can an audio tape with the voice of Obama himself clarify that he was shot one week later, after the recording?

In the past the mainstream media was always careful with the verification of the authenticity of material coming from such channels.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6899398.stm

On top of it, the article reads like Osama knew it that an aboutabad home party with team six was coming. So he made his final recording and big last words.

The winds of change came, in a will of liberation," Bin Laden said.

Can you hear the Scorpions whistling in the background?

The horror. :o

Full translation of the interview on the Veterans website http://www.veteranst...excuse-my-tone/ This web-site a treasure box for some.

Anchor: Welcome back, Mohammad Bashir is a resident of Abboottabad's Bilal Town. Muhammad Bashir might seem an ordinary guy but he is no ordinary guy. Muhammad Bashir lives in front of Osama Ben Laden's house in Bilal Town Abbottabad. On 2nd of May, Muhammad Bashir was present on his rooftop from where he saw the whole American operation against Osama Ben Laden with his own eyes. Yesterday when our team was present In Bilal Town, Abbottabad, near Osama Ben Laden's hose, Muhammad Bashir came to us and said, "Sister, I need to tell you something, something that is a burden on my heart and soul", just listen to what he said.

Bashir: I am going to share something about the Abbottabad operation which till this day nobody else has told you.

Anchor: But Muhammad Bashir was a little afraid too, while talking to me he telephoned hia reletive, Vice President of Jummat-e-Islami, Abdur Razzaq Abasi, watch it

Reporter: Tell me your name and tell me whare do you live

Bashir: Let me first, Let me talk to him one minute, i will give you full interview, full or half?

Reporter: Full Full

Bashir: Let me first talk to him

Reporter: To whom? To Abbasi?

Bashir: yes, to Abbasi

Anchor: Muhammad Bashir told us something that no one said before. So we checked his identity card, we also confirmed that he really lives there, we asked from the senior fellows about him. We were very astonished by his story just see and listen what he said.

Bashir: We were awake, not asleep, a helicopter came, some men came down from that, into that house, then that helicopter went away

Reporter: How many men?

Bashir: 10-12, then that helicopter took rounds of those rear hills, then he came bac…k and when he came bach, two more helicopters arrived, one from the west and other from the north, there was a blast in the first helicopter and it was on fire, we immediately came out, when we reached there, the helicopter was burning, then after about 20 minutes the army and police arrived, they pushed us back, now we are asking that if oama was here then who took him to america because all those men that came in the helicopter died in the blast, now if Osama was in that helicopter he must have died and got burnt in that helicopter too, then how they took him? this is a question of serious concern. America claims they they killed him and picked him up. How they picked him up? This is what we are thinking

Reporter: Was there only one helicopter?

Bashir? Yes the other that came flew away to Mansehra, there was only one that landed the men and came back to pick them but as he was picking them up, it blew away and caught fire.

Reporter: Then were in it when it blew?

Bashir: Yes They were.

Reporter : How you know?

Bashir: We saw it with our own eyes

Reporter: You saw dead man?

Bashir: Yes, dead men,

Reporter: How many?

Bashir: I couldnt count them because then the compound was on fire. The gate was open, we went in, the army and police hadnt arrived then, there were some people but they werent stopping them. The whole neighborhood has seen that but they are silent now.

Bashir: We saw the helicopter burning, we saw the dead bodies, then everything was removed and now there is nothing

Reporter: How many dead bodies you saw?

Bashir: We couldn't count them because they were blown into pieces.

The reporter asked Bashir to narrate the story again.

Bashir said we could see the faces of those men but they were speaking pashto. I dont know whether they were Pakistani or American army or people of agencies, as you know that agency people can speak many languages.

May be they were speaking Pashto so that we consider them Pakistani.

They knocked and banged at our doors and told us not to come out.

I laid down on my rooftop and was watching them.

My kids were calling me, I told them to go to their rooms and let me check whats going on.

The reporter asks Bashir, that when he saw that the helicopter was American what was he thinking then?

Bashir said that he got afraid. He didn't had in his mind that they will attack that house. He thought that they might have come to attack the Pakistan Army.

The reporter asked so when was your cousin Shamraiz taken away?

Bashir: Shamrez was at our home, as the helicopter exploded, me and many others went out of our homes to see what happened. Shamrez also came out and the gate of the compound was open, we went in, every thing was lying scattered, as it is a huge compound, some body parts were lying here, some there, legs, arms, heads, broken and torn body parts, during that time some part of the helicopter inside, may be the engine or other fuel related part had an explosion so we rushed out. During that time Shamrez was taken away, he is in his home now, but no one is allowed to meet him and i couldn't get a chance to talk to him later.

Then the anchor says that they had vegetations inside the compound and Shamrez was their gardener. We know that two men Arshad and Tariq used to live there. They had good relations with the neighbours, they used to buy things from the local store. Sometimes imported dates and used to send many things to their neighbours.

Then the reporter is at Abdullah Ben Zubair Mosque, which is the nearest to compound of Osama.

She asks a guy: do you think people would have been glad and happy if they would have ever met osama?

The guy : Yes, possibly. Because he was a muslim and he believed in God.

This is the whole story! Every aspect and point translated.

The gentleman being interviewed lives across from the compound. His cousin Sahab Jamrez Khan used to grow vegetables in the compound. He was taken away in all the hullabaloo on tape @10.29 Bashir says he did not see when they wisked his cousin away.

Interviewer asks "Have you spoken to your cousin?"

Bashir "No, I have not seen him yet he in in the house. "They will not let him get out" "They will not let me get in."

2 other men Arshad Sahib and Tariq Sahib used to go to market to shop for that compound and bought international brand items. Dates, dried meat found in compound. Also food used to come from compound to Bashir's house Kabulu Pilau and things like that used to be presented to Bashir. They will follow up with more information. In the end the lady is standing in front of Abdullah Bin Zubair mosque. The mosque was with in walking distance of the compound. She asks people if Osama did attend this mosque people would have be happy? The one answered maybe. The other said Osama did "not" live here but he was muslim and believed in God. Interview ends.

Another thing to note is that Bashir mentioned that we are very "sharif" meaning law abiding honest people. His town was a peaceful place no excitement no murders, fights, and he is unhappy how they have made his town so frightful with all this news. One thing is very clear in this video. Two helicopters hovered never landed. One landed dropped Pashto speaking poeple on the roof 10-12 of them Helicopter left fo 20 minutes returned to load people in and small blast engine failure fire helicopter parts all over. Body parts arms, legs, head, all over. Pakistani Army/Police came in dispersed crowd. The whole scene is cleaned up totally now. No evidence left to examine.

Note: The compound in question was observed for months and one time a CIA agent killed innocent Pakistani citizens after he believed that the ISI was following him. I think you remember. How would OBL have not heard of that and still stay there? Go figure.

Has to make you smile .....

That aside.....Folks are expected to believe not a peep for a decade ....Not when things heated up in Egypt,Yemen, Afghanistan.....but now.....Oh btw here is a tape

Yep color me skeptical....Things like this are the side show.... a distraction.....

Reminds me of something I read on a financial site earlier this week...

So from now on, you can expect a veritable avalanche of "good times talk" out of Washington. The employment figures will be skewed to the administration's advantage, the inflation figures will be a lie, the benefit that the government has bestowed upon us will be exaggerated. And the Bin Laden victory will be touted to the high heavens. Hey, "at last we're safe."

Anyone else think the similarities between the writing style and that of a Nigerian Scam letter oddly similar?

You can ask someone or have a agency translate the interview if you want to. There's a huge difference between the style of what you suggest. 419 scams are entierly different 419 (Advanced Fee Fraud)

I live in the land of news not Thailand so yes I do...

Do you have a specific verified account your referring to?

Or one of the many unverified hearsay reports?

That aside if your buying the version that they flew in to Pakistan...popped a round or two into OBL then zoomed out to a ship & gave him a burial at sea....well that is your perogative

And what makes this tape any different from any of the other communiques from bin Laden? That there hasn't been a "peep" until now.? So this "peep" is verified?

And yes, other videos and tapes have been "verified" to the degree possible.

What amazes me about the tin foil hat brigade is that they grab onto something, then hold on despite an overwhelmingly strong body of evidence to the contrary. I fully believe that the US government can and does conduct subterfuge. However, for all the conspiracy types on bin Laden, well, that would have to get the cooperation of al Qeda, the Taliban, the Pakistani government, the US government, the military, Al Jazeerah, etc. Can anyone with even a hint of logical thought process really think that all those groups would cooperate to sustain some sort of con job on the American people?

But by all means, if that kind of thinking gives you a warm and fuzzy, have it. I enjoy reading David Baldacci books myself; but I also realize they are fiction.

I will take that as a no to verified then.

As for the groups who agree with you.....You mean the ones reported to agree with you? Or do you have a inside pipeline to these *groups*?

As I said your prerogative....

Wish it had been you who called me back when the info on this side show was leaked 10 minutes before the Obama announced his feathered cap...

Instead it was a pal of mine who called asking if I could believe this crock.

I said I would bet him one ounce of gold (a gold eagle) that there would never be a body.

Sadly he is not the gullible type & would not take the bet.

A few hours later we were all told what we already knew....There would never be a body.

Enjoy the side show if you like........I do not know if your American or Italian?

But the real show is the avalanche of debt that is crushing what was once a fine country.

Gnite late here ;)

The debt is crushing, to be sure. But that is another issue.

And don't you think that al Qeda or the Taliban would somehow, some way get the word out if what was being attributed to them was wrong, that they never said that? Goodness, I would think we would all have more logic that that.

If I was an agency or organization in which the US was my enemy, and all of a sudden the world news was suddenly reporting things that I knew to be wrong, I sure would make noises. And if I was some news agency, and I got wind of it, I would be all over it. That is how news organizations get Pulitzers in the US, and probably the same sort of thing happens in other countries.

In order for your theories to hold water, al Jazerrah, the Taliban, and al Qeda would have to be working in tandem with the US government. And I am sorry, but that is rather more far fetched than the idea that bin Laden was killed a couple of weeks ago.

How often exactly?

And how much do you believe the things Al-Qaeda said? Or Obama? Are that your new sources of trust?

I do think Osama is dead, but I don't base my opinion on Al-Qaeda statements and I consider myself sane.

I still don't believe everything what president Obama says and I don't think its a sign that I lost my sanity.

I do think Osama is dead,

Then why are you arguing about it - just for the sake of arguing? :ermm:

Huh?

Do you think he is still alive? Or do you think his latest audio tape proves that he is dead?

I wouldn't trust Al-Qaeda statements as reliable sources - does that makes me insane?

Or what you argue about.

I think that he is dead - as you say that you do - but the fact that al Qaeda admits it, means that there is little more to argue about. - unless one is just arguing for the sake of arguing.

I just said that a sane person should not give much on Al-Qaeda statements. That is all.

And I see that some are around who are just arguing for the sake of arguing.

How about this? Everyone agree OBL is dead and that there are more important issues to deal with?

Did Osama really spoke of the Wind of Change? Like in that horrible song with the whistling tunes?

That is so girly talk, something you would expect to hear from Madeleine Albright Hillary Clinton or that black dude in the White House.

If Osama really said it, it proves how backward these people are. That song was already shit and horrible twenty years ago.

And its finally a reason why the execution was justified, every sane person would agree with it.

If you go back & read my original post to which you replied

.....you will hopefully see my position is quite clear.

I am skeptical of the feel good news that is being spoon fed to the masses. Not only does it lack logic, it comes at a time when much larger things are in motion & on the verge of total collapse. These things are not as separate an issue as you think.

As usual just IMO of course. Like always you are welcomed to yours.
