15 Day Land Visa Extend?

Hi there,

Im in Bangkok. If I go to cambodia and back I will get a 15 day land visa for thailand. Can I then extend this in Bangkok by 30 days or does that only apply to 60 day visas?

The most you can expect would be 7 days to leave the country.

The 30 day extension applies only to 60 day tourist visas.

What you will get is a visa exempt entry. This can only be extended by 7 days, but might require a ticket out of the country within those 7 days.

Hi Simon..just a thought but u might want to consider getting a flight back as this will get u the 30 day entry permit. I know the flight will cost extra but this may be offset by the 1900 baht 7 day extension charge anyway plus you will prob get a 15 day (I think) extension if needed (another 1900 baht I'm afraid). It would still be a visa exemt entry, on which no extension is given. Only a 7 day under consideration wich might require a ticket out of the country within those 7 days.
