My Thai wife got a UK tourist visa.....can she travel to France on this visa or does she need something else???

The UK is the UK, for France she requires a Schengen Visa, search here and you will find details.

BE CAREFUL,some European countries and FRANCE is one of them have suspended Shengen Visa entries according to recent news reports,. You need to check direct with the French Embassy to be sure.

Should only take a week to ten days, she needs to apply in her country of residence, which I assume is Thailand.

She needs to do it via Tlscontact https://www.tlscontact.com/th2fr/login.php

The French haven't suspended Schengen but they are considering introducing border controls, and in any case your wife would go through French Immigration on arrival in France or at the Eurostar Terminal in London.

I didn't know a Thai wife could get a tourist visa so quickly. The process for getting my wife to America is almost one year in length (not that she wants to go to America).

I wonder if the tourist visa for her visiting America is as quick a process as the U.K. process.
