Digger
Amari is next door over the highway via a walkway but its not that great. Personally I prefer the Sofitel at Ladphrao which is also handy for the shopping mall

ovenman
I've always thought that the relative dearth of hotels in close proximity to Don Muang Airport was related to the ongoing Suvarnabhumi Airport construction saga. From the first time I came to Thailand in 1993, word was always that the new Bangkok airport would open in two years. I'm sure that this was also proclaimed for years before my first arrival in the kingdom. Even if one thought this statement to be optimistic at best, why would a company want to invest tens of millions of baht in an airport that will theoretically be soon not needed? When I stay near the airport, I like the Asia Airport but this property is a classic example of the above scenario. I really doubt a seventeen-storey hotel will be needed in Rangsit once Don Muang is closed.
lampard10
We use 'The Comfort Suites' or 'Don Muang Mansions' Amari's nice if you want to pay 6,000/7,000 a night
ovenman
Amari's nice if you want to pay 6,000/7,000 a night Better make that money while they can because the Amari is another hotel that will have no reason for being once Suvarnabhumi Airport opens. thohts
Amari Airport is unnecessarily expensive. The Miracle Grand is the best choice in the area. Stupid name, great hotel.
