Painting Prep

I want to paint my townhouse. In the back were the kitchen and laundry are, the wall has green and black mold were the rainwater runs down. I was wondering is there a mold cleaner out there a person can use. I wish to not have to scrape it off because I am worried about the mold dust. But is scraping the only way? I would really prefer some cleaner to remove it all. In Canada there is some crystals I used to buy but cannot remember the name and donot know if they have here anyways.

you might consider taking care of the "rain water" problem. b/c no matter what you do to re-paint, whatever - it's going to happen again unless the water problem is resolved.

btw: I would use a wire brush on the area before applying primer/paint.

chlorine/bleach kills it. apply, wait an hour, remove wet or dry
