Non-Immigrant Visa

Recommended Posts

I'm 29, Irish and in Thailand since last September on a one year Non-Immigrant (type O) visa. This means I have to get stamp every 3 months. I usually go to Mae Sai, very easy.

So, my next stamp is due June 4th but I'm flying home on June 8th. I don't want to have to go all the way to Mae Sai just to get a stamp for 3 days.

Does anyone know if it's possible to go to the immigration office where I live and get an extension? Or should I just overstay and pay in the airport when I leave? (not that keen on doing this as am coming back in September and don't particularly want an overstay stamp in my passport).

Do the same overstay rules apply to Non O stamps? I am confused about it all to be honest!

Any advice?

Cheers
