Hi , i have a 50 gm gold bar which i normally keep in my purse all the time , do u think carrying this in and out of thailand would be a problem ??

thats roughly 3 bath worth of gold translated that's about 6 monthly wages for a low payed thai. Ask yourself if you would walk around in the west with 6 monthly wages everyday...

Anyway i think it's a very interesting question i didn't have to for my self to dig into. How much bath can you take outside of thailand when you declare it legally to customs. And alos how much can you bring in? Anyone?
