Debt Collector shot and seriously injured in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A man involved in debt collecting around the Pattaya area was shot in the side of the head and remains in a coma in Hospital. The shooting occurred in the early hours of Monday Morning. Khun Nikom aged 32 was driving his Toyota Corolla home to the Nong Get Noi area and his wife, Khun Ponumar aged 27 was in the passenger seat when a gang of between 5 and 6 men on 3 motorbikes drove past the car and appeared to be staring at the victim. Moments later, one of the men produced a gun and shot twice, in the direction of the car.

At the Hospital, Police interviewed the victim's family who claimed he never had any disagreements with anyone and were unable to provide a motive for the attack which is now under investigation.
