I have an Opel Corsa and it looks like it needs a new engine management unit, the box of electronics that controls the ignition, fuel and whatnot. The problem is Chevrolet want 20,000bt for one , is there anywhere I can get it repaired or exchanged or anything? I'm in Pakkret but anywhere BKK is ok.

Perhaps a used one will do it?Then I might can help you.

Generally I think 20000 baht will cost the unit new here in Germany also.You can be glad not having an Audi,Benz or Beamer

I'm not even sure it is the ECM, it looks to be it anyway. Another member is helping me out (an Omega owner) and I might have to get back to you if he can't locate the box. Thanks very much for your offer of help though, it's really good to know that I'm not on my own with this!
