Lesbian Meeting Place In Koh Samui/phangan?

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm a woman coming to Koh Samui this coming Saturday and then to Koh Phangan, and was looking for a lesbian meeting place in either of these islands, finding nothing. Maybe they are not advertised anywhere? Does anyone know of any such place / club / bar? If yo udo, I'd highly appreciate if you coudl email me that info, to [email protected] since I may not log in to the forum.

Many thanks!

I don't know of any specifically gay/lesbian places in Koh Phangan at all. Doesn't mean they don't exist (I don't get out much :o ) but I have never heard of any.

thanks anyway for trying.. :o

Nothing has changed... 6 years later, koh Samui still has nowhere for girls to meet girls. Though there are many Thai lesbians I see, for farang we have nothing. :-(

Even in Bangkok there are very few explicitly 'lesbian' bars, AFAIK- even for Thais. I imagine they meet each other through internet or mutual connections. As you say, they're not that hard to find when you go out looking. Perhaps as a foreigner you could take a little license and stop and ask one or two of them now and then if they knew of a good place- restaurant, what have you- to girls to meet?

Also, the 'tourist' nature of the place would mean that people are probably going there a lot with people they *already* know...?
