Is Lamai Learning Center Moving?

I heard through the Samui grapevine that Lamai Learning Center is moving location. Can anyone confirm this? Furthermore, possible that it would be at the old Oon Rak "boat" school site.

do you mean "Samui centre of learning" ? which is a British curriculum school located in Lamai.

Yes, that is the one. I heard that got their international school license and they were possibly moving to Bang Makham. Both good news for us if it's true!

Why not contact them direct? They have their own website with contact details and telephone numbers.

Seems quicker and more reliable than asking us lot. (and yes - they have announced that they have their International School License.)

just a thought, if it wasn't for this particular grapevine i wouldn't have known that they had their international school cert., wouldn't have known that they were considering moving and also wouldn't have known that "her" name was emma.

i am glad for all the extra info, if they do in fact move to bang makham it makes it much more convenient for me to consider a western style school much much closer to home.

Did indeed finally get through and found out that the move to the "boat" school is not yet confirmed but is being seriously considered. Updates will be given via their website. Agreed, grapevines aren't always ideal but like was said, I've been educated a bit by this, so it's been a help, thanks! For those hoping it happens, my fingers are crossed too!
