Israel sits comfortably while the US maintains it's power of veto on the UN Security Council, yet greatly fears the Goldstone Report being acted upon. June 26, 201115 yr At the end of the day imo the USA should pull out of the UN as the fee is way too high and it is nothing more than a paper tiger offering a forum for corrupt leaders to promote their own holidays. I have a hard time coming up with 10 good deeds the UN has done well in the last 20 yrs.

Yes. I would be in complete agreement. In fact, I would go out on a limb to suggest the utter renouncement and dissolving of the U.N. body from our mind sets. The Bretton Woods agreements had nothing whatsoever to do with an universal international body for the enrichment of the world's population. The U.N. is just an extension of the [deeper] controlling ruling class. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm not sure what you mean, zzaa, by the "deeper" ruling class. It sounds a bit like the Bangkok elite writ large. Or is it your own personal bugbear, looming the larger because it is ill-defined?
