LaoPo
OK, here's the next one, but I promise you: Not easy but to help a little I post 3 pics this time! LaoPo Nobody ? Hint: It's not Asia. LaoPo This is a quote from Old Croc* in 'What's the City' topic: "And how about giving a reasonable clue for that building you've posted in the "city" thread. I spent hours looking around asia for it and was pissed off when you said it was not there! Did you photoshop the asian boatmen into the picture" ...spent hours.....? We all spent hours searching, at least I did with your pics, Croc. ...pissed off........? We all were pissed off at some point before too Croc. ...Photoshop the Asian boatman....? No I didn't, because it's not an Asian boatman. It's also NOT an Australian-, Middle Eastern-, European- or South American boatman and I doubt if you can find such a guy in the US. And: maybe you wouldn't think so but it's a Capital City, whilst the tall building is a bank.... Here are the pics again: LaoPo Edited November 3, 2006 by LaoPo
Old Croc
I wasn't really pissed off LP. I was just playing with you. Your red herring trick with the boatmen in the picture is just part of the game. I post using the fast reply function a lot, hence a lack of smilies sometimes. farangsay
JHC guys , it's been a Thai week and nobody's even had a guess yet ! I wasted a lot of time like you Croc , wandering around Asia. The scenery said Africa to me but the guy in the boat looked "overdressed". Anyway I threw a dart at a map of Africa and it landed in Kigali , Ruanda. I know it's not there but if you said "up a bit , down a bit , left a bit , right a bit" LP we could move this along. Go North West of Rwanda... And, because it's weekend: this country has no access to an ocean... LaoPo

farangsay
Been looking at stadii (is that right?) for a while and have developed a green haze blurring my vision. What do they play here (don't say golf , just dont OK?)
Old Croc
I think they run and jump and throw things and kick balls (soccer) and swim in the pool next door. Not Europe, Asia, Australia, NZ, New Guineau nor any of the Pacific Islands.
LaoPo
Where's this city? Is this taken from a TV-sreeen ? Need another hint. LaoPo

LaoPo
Not the Americas So, is it correct that we don't have to look in: Europe, Asia, Australia, NZ, New Guineau nor any of the Pacific Islands; plus the Americas. Can I assume it is in Africa than ? LaoPo

LaoPo
Macau? You just 'got' me before jumping under my Silk Duvet.... NO: It's not a Chinese speaking city/country. Question: Where on earth does one find 2 of such buildings (1 Cityhall, 1 Church), close behind each other ?....and in what kind of place/city ? Question: are they new or old.....since there are typical Amsterdam - Holland houses on the left and back-right................... Not so long ago you were the one who gave me a hint; it's the same hint....but maybe you can't remember. LaoPo...................and: good night! PS: what about 'our' What's the Place topic ?
