Hi,

I would like to apply for a multiple entry visa (NON-B) from my home country of USA. My question: On the application form when I check off Multiple Entry, do I need to state 90 days or is that assumed? And when I re-enter the kingdom do they automatically know to stamp me for 90 days again because its a multiple entry? (or is at the officers discretion to stamp for 90 days, or 30 days?)

Thanks!

There is no such visa. Only non immigrant is sold as single or multi. Tourist visas are sold for one, two or three entry. Time of entry depends on nationality but for most is 60 days but with an extension of 30 days allowed on request/payment of 1,900 baht.

last question:

What supporting docs would be required for a non-b visa? What supporting docs would I have if I havent yet obtained a job?! I am coming to look for a job and that is why I would need the non-b so is saying that enough to get the non-b?

Could I type up a letter on my letterhead from my american based business and say that I am trying to find new clients in thailand? Is that enough for a non-b multiple entry?

thanks for your time!

Looking for a job does not require a non immigrant visa entry so that is not likely to work. A letter from a legitimate company would likely be accepted however.

So if I have a letter from my USA based business explaining that I am going to thailand to source new manufacturers for my business, and/or meet with potential buyers, that would be sufficient?

thanks!

Probably yes. But might be wise to contact a Thai consulate first to ask what they want to see.
