On the right coming from Icon if headed toward Nai Harn Beach, on the corner opposite The Freebird Bar & Restaurant.

Maybe the one you are thinking of is Typhoon? With all the wood decking and furniture, I understand they too have a breakfast buffet, but have heard it's hit and miss.

F1Fanatic consider yourself added to the list. Anyone that sits and watches a race where the pole sitter goes round and round for hours to victory (mind numbing) is also probably after hi-so ladies in Kata (which is a complete laugher). Good nite to all and to all a good nite !!

Ouch -that's told you F1fanatic, but I too follow F1, but I thought this was all about Rawai ??

Typhoon - dreadful

M & M - food Ok, but dreadful owner (the Mrs half)

Kallots - going downhill recently

just my views jap.gif

You can put Norbu's on the going down list.

Just goes to show.... One of my best friends LOVES M&M's and insisted on taking me there one evening - even though I'm not into pizzas.

The pasta I ordered was great, but I wondered about the lady owner, even though she went out of her way to accomodate us as my friend was a good customer....

I've no doubt that we all think we are excellent judges of character  and, to be fair, I thought the lady was business-like and determined to make the restaurant a success.

I have noticed she isnt very happy when 4 Russians need a large table to share one pizza and a bottle of water, but she s always been very sweet with me and my TH GF and mates

Ater a recommendation from a friend I tried the Indian food at Roxanne bar Rawai he other night and I have to say the vindaloo was excellent. The best I have had since leaving England and only 100bht that's nearly half the price of buying one at the supermarket in Chalong.

It's the first Indian I have had since a bad experience with a frozen curry a few months ago.

Apparently the guy who set it up was a chef for 30 years and has worked in cuury house's in the UK.

I will definitely be giving it another try.The bar was also very busy for this time of year

That's what the bum gun next to the toilet is for.

Be careful though of the water pressure, the last thing you want to do is spray the vindaloo grog bog onto your scrotum.

<b>Many reasonably priced accomodations available in Rawai.Shrek apartments are particularly good and fairly priced. The bars tend to be much of a muchness particularly at this time of year. But currently Roxanne bar is about the best for atmosphere, music ect. They also have a 'curry shack' there serving Indian curries and burgers which are excellent.Hope you enjoy your stay.
