For the OP:

If one looks carefully at the really successful business men in Tailand, you will see that they are not parochial, and willing to invest outside their own local environment. I think the idea of buying some land and putting an apartment block on it is a good idea. My mate Rohit has some fairly innovative ideas on this topic, and I could put you in touch with him, if you like...

If I trusted him, I;d have been rich by now, apparently

ofcourse i wud like to in touch with ur mate rohit.....he can explain me better.....thnx

I imagine you could actually do without Rohit. His cunning plan is to buy property in Mumbai and live off the increase in value, which he believes will escalate for ever. He hasn't given up the day job, though

Love the username, sounds like you know a lot about Thailand already.

if you're trying to say what I think you are saying then the word is khek not khak. It just means guest which is what he is .

"Go to Nana Plaza and look for an investment advisor."

Too funny. Even Beetlejuice got one in.

I hesitate to ask, but what does Khak mean? I have a general idea, but, maybe, you can't post it.

Thai call Indians khek. It just means guest.

I have seen it as, khek, khak and kaek, however these are all an irrelevance, the word is แขก.

I am not trying to say anything, just my anal(?)ytical mind at work, username, subject, first posting.

However for the OP, I noticed a sign outside the HSBC today, quick sale, 1 1/2 rai in Sathorn, 200k per T/W suitable for 8 storey condo,

thats only 120 million before he even builds the condo, I was in no rush to withdraw my savings.

I suggested he talk to other Indians, because they have already done, what he is trying to do. They should be able to give good experienced advice.

What, you mean like the Cherokees and Siouxs...? Didn't know they were big in Thailand.
