It seems today k. Noppadon Pattama, strongly criticised National Resources and Environment Minister Suwit Khunkitti for withdrawing Thailand from the World Heritage Convention.

The interesting part is that k. Noppadon is not really innocent in this drama.

"Thai Court rules Thai-Cambodian communique in breach of charter

BANGKOK, July 8 (TNA) -- Thailand's Constitution Court ruled Tuesday that Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama violated the Constitution by signing a joint communique with Cambodia concerning Preah Vihear temple without parliamentary endorsement."

Probably I was not clear in my post because what I meant is exactly what you wrote: "If Thailand does not act as an evolved and responsible country, respectful of international laws, rulings, treaties and organizations, it will soil the country's standing in the global community. It will put the country in the group of banana republics that are ruled by capricious leaders without regard for the people's welfare and or future."

Which laws, rulings and treaties are Thailand NOT respecting?

Alone against the whole world! Let's fight a new world war (185 countries against 1).

6 billions people are devils, 60 millions are angels!

What is the name if this pathology? Paranoia?

Or

How to lose face to avoid to lose face.

as it was said to you before....

remember.... going home to horn more diplomatic skills and new way to colonize.... is another viable option currently available.... to those who think that cambodian and her allies, such as french et al.... can in current century.... arbitrarily decide to act independently, singularly or collectively without the third party consent or participation.... to enforce the majority decision and will upon that third party and against the third party wish and well-being....

i often ask myself.... can farang still do that.... just as most of them did some centuries ago.... colonizing whoever, wherever and however.... as they pleased....

if one can remember the Alamo and/or the bung-ra-chan ( บางระจัน ? ).... one ought to remember the well dug by the UNESCO, International red cross.... that the land where the no good cambodians have been trying to swallow up in corporation with the leading french govt and others....;

the well was dug on thai sovereignty as declared by the then UNESCO with many photographs to prove.

it is a dam_n shame.... that so many farang still carry over many of those colonization attitudes....

if you won't give me your candy/oil/natural resources voluntarily.... we'll form a committee, a league of many nations, to decide and act accordingly.... to take away your candy/oil/natural resources by peaceful means, a majority committee decision of course.

may thailand never give up its sovereignty.... even though the current thai pm--apisit and three other ministers already gave away some of thai sovereignty to cambodia by virtues of remaining silence and not acting on behalf of thailand interests.... before the international community.

even maybe as you so arrogantly said.... Alone against the whole world! Let's fight a new world war (185 countries against 1).... let it be so.... geovalin dear....

and woe be unto you, and you and you.... if you still persist.... B)

What i dont understand is why the Thais let the Cambodians have the temple back in 1962? It should have been disputed then. On the basis of boundaries drawn up on watersheds, the temple is in Thailand? Were the Thais being inept back in1962?

Well, when I write "Thailand", I don't mean Thailand, just the yellow & army who obliges Abisith to act silly. Before the yellow and the secret hand rules Thailand since 5 years, there was no problem at the border.

Red Shirt terrorist suspect out on bail and running for Parliament as a Pheu Thai MP Natthawut has updated the antiquated "secret hand" and "third hand" terminology to...

unknown 'special powers'.

Use of the "third hand" has been discontinued and to Natthawut, it is now the "special powers"...

or have you forgotten....

mai

pan

rai....

actually, there was a uproar.... but then at the time, there were no one to champion the cause....

many still worship farang....

but as everyone can tell nowadays.... things are slightly different....

what is right.... is always right.... more power to you, thailand.... as she already has reserved the rights to reclaim the temple after the fateful decision against thailand was rendered at the time....

now thailand just needs to seek out someone, someone special who is not prone to corruption.... to start the process of reclaiming the temple....

as every able person is cognizant that the temple has been on thai soil and under thai sovereignty for however long....; go for it.... thailand.... :jap: :jap: :jap:
