Low turnout and voter confusion at Pattaya pre-election polling station

PATTAYA: -- A low turnout of 55% in pre-election voting, one week prior to the date of the General Election was reported in Chonburi Province, which includes those who registered to vote in Pattaya. On Sunday a total of 1.07 Million Thai citizens who had registered to vote outside of their home province, cast their votes around Thailand from a potential 2.6 Million who registered their intentions to vote in Sunday’s pre-election day.
