Back in the US after 6 months in BKK last year. I have a Thai friend getting married in a Traditional Buddist wedding next month and would like to send a wedding present. They are a very cosmopolitan couple and I would like some ideas of what I could send....or what I should NOT send.

She's right, the traditional gift at a wedding is money. Normally, however, you don't give anything if you don't attend.
