Cleaner at South Pattaya Hotel wanted following theft from Iranian’s room safe

PATTAYA: -- An Iranian Tourist was robbed of over 100,000 Baht’s worth of US Dollar Currency from his South Pattaya Hotel room on Wednesday. Tourist Police were called to the Paramita Hotel in Soi 6 off the Pratamnuk Road where they met Mr. Bagher Ghandehari aged 50 who directed Police to his 3rd floor room and to the room safe which he claimed had been opened

The prime suspect is the 33 year old hotel cleaner who had been employed for only 2 days. The Hotel manager confirmed that they were unaware of her real name and knew her only as “Mam”. Since the robbery took place she has disappeared and her mobile phone has been switched off
