Koh Som Dog

Featured Replies

Went to Koh Som a couple of days ago and there was no one there apart from the resident dog who has always lived on the island. Not sure what he is doing for food as he is very, very thin. I think with the lack of visitors he is feeling the pinch.

Anyway we went off and got him some food and will drop him off some more today.

If anyone is passing by I'm sure he would appreciate a few scraps. He's a lovely friendly dog even though he looks as though he has been put together by a committee.

Does anybody have any more info on this dog? I hear its starving to death and I am more than happy to go and pick it up and bring it back to Koh Samui.

We went back and gave it some more food last week. Since then we were able to contact the manager for the development who was really most helpful.

He has advised us that the dog has now been moved across to the mainland and is being looked after by one of the staff who looked after him

when the restaurant there was operating. I go across there fairly regularly so will give an update if there is anything to add.
